Ms. Merve Ozgur Sonmez

Merve Ozgur Sonmez is a DHA-licensed psychologist specialized in adult and adolescent therapy. She has 11 years of experience working with adults and adolescent with ages ranging from 15 and above.
She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Koc University, a well-known university in Turkey, Istanbul with a honors and her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Okan University with honors.
Merve is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing )therapy and CBT(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).
Merve has experience in rehabilitation centers, hospitals and counseling centers. She has also experience in teaching at psychology departmens of several universities in both Turkish and English.
She has experience in both face to face and online therapy sessions. She conducts her sessions both in Turkish and English.
She is also a member of TPD (Turkish Psychological Association).
