Dr. Viola is a Psychological Counsellor and Systemic Coach with distinctive experience in supporting adolescents and adults with their mental health and well-being. Her work approach is solution-focused, and her fields of expertise comprise stress management, empowerment of personal/communication skills, life-balance, burnout / depression, anxiety disorders, crisis intervention and relationship concerns. She provides couple and family counseling. On a corporate level, she supports teams in their development and in conflict management.
Dr. Viola is also Assistant Professor at the American University in Dubai.
Before she moved to Dubai in 2018, Dr. Viola worked in Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) in Düsseldorf, Germany, providing psychological counseling as well as coaching services for diverse clients from companies and public organizations. She also led projects in the field of corporate health management, administering workshops and lectures about leadership, corporate culture and mental health. She moderated group discussions for the Dubai Ministry of Happiness.
Dr. Viola completed her academic Psychology career in Germany at the University of Mannheim (also Universidad de Valencia, Spain) with a focus on the interface between organizational and clinical Psychology and with research in the field of stress and strain at work.
