Ms. Gayatri Gajjam is a DHA-Licensed Clinical Psychologist and RCI-Certified Rehabilitation Psychologist with over 13 years of clinical experience across the UAE and India. She received her professional training at the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (NIEPID) and has extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families across a wide range of psychological, emotional, behavioural, and developmental concerns.
Her areas of expertise include psychological assessment, evidence-based psychotherapy, behavioural interventions, developmental disorders, and multidisciplinary rehabilitation. She has experience in the assessment and management of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and broader psychological well-being concerns.
Ms. Gayatri is also experienced in conducting psychoeducational and psychometric assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, implementing behavioural interventions, providing parent counselling, and coordinating care within multidisciplinary teams. Her approach considers each individual’s unique needs, strengths, environment, and stage of development.
Her therapeutic practice incorporates a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behaviour Therapy, and Play Therapy. She also provides parent counselling and family counselling to help families better understand concerns, strengthen relationships, and support positive behavioural and emotional development.
