Dr. David A. Lee is a British-trained, DHA-Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 19 years of experience supporting adults, late adolescents (16+), and couples in navigating life’s challenges. While he works with clients presenting with a wide range of difficulties – including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stress, and grief/loss – his core specialism is in trauma and addiction recovery, helping individuals and couples to rebuild healthier, more connected lives.
He specialises in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy and Integrative Couples Therapy. He also integrates his expertise as a Certified Addiction Recovery Coach and Accredited Performance Coach, supporting clients in building resilience, insight, and lasting personal growth.
Having trained and practised extensively in the UK (across both NHS and private sectors), Dr. Lee brings experience in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, alongside leadership roles running private practices and services in both the UK and the UAE.
